The Czech Beer Festival Event Sponsored by kippdataThursday 20 May, 21:00-23:00 Free for conference attendees Join us for a fun evening at the third annual Czech Beer Festival. This event runs for seventeen days, attracting up to 10,000 visitors a day in eight large-scale tents. You will have a chance to choose from more than 70 brands of top quality Czech beer - including regional breweries and micro-breweries. Specialties of top chefs of famous Czech restaurants and catering companies, such as Švejk Restaurant, Vyšehrad 2000 or Intercatering, will await you in each tent. Each tent also has its own stage with colorful entertainment programs. Your servers will be dressed in Czech national costumes.  You will get a supply of Tolars - the coins used at the event - to purchase meals and a selection of beers.We'll meet in front of the Hotel Carlo IV, then hop on the Metro nearby and ride to the Letnany metro station which right next to the festival venue (Letnany Exhibit Centre). From there we'll gather at our section of one of the tents. Please bring your best drinking songs and national toasts!
